M has started "playing" more on the play mat these past couple of weeks and I noticed that he always waves around his left arm and his right just stays by his side. He doesn't use it at all. But when I put something against his right hand he will grasp it, and he waves both arms around when sitting in a lap, in the high chair, or whatever. My question to all of you is, would you just wait and see if he starts using it to play, is this normal, or is this something you would call the dr. about? And does anyone else have any experience with this? Thanks. :-) I refuse to look it up on Dr. Google and freak myself out...
Re: Arm preference at 3 months...
Couldn't hurt to mention it to the pedi. Most likely it's nothing, kids are quirky sometimes, but if it is an issue it's better to add
