how do you pump?

For a certain number of minutes?
Until you have a certain number of ounces?
Until your milk slows down?
Until your milk stops?
Or just until you are annoyed by the humming of the machine? :

15-20 minutes. 20 if it's been a little longer between pumps or if I feel really full. 15 otherwise. 

The humming of the machine annoys my husband more than me. It doesn't even bother me anymore.

I pump at work and I have a limited amount of time I can pump, so I pump for time.  20 minutes (sometimes a little over).

I generally pump for time. I pump for at least 15 minutes except for first thing in the morning. I only pump for 5 to 10 because I feed DS 45 minutes to an hour after that pumping session, so I don't want to empty the breasts.

I usually go until I am mostly empty (I only pump when I'm engorged, like in the morning). But that is usually the same amount of time (around 15-20 minutes).

Minutes here, I can see reading everyone's response I am a longer pumper I go at least 30 mins sometimes 45 my letdown are way way far apart.
