When do you run errands?

For mobile users: When do you run errands?

I dread grocery shopping with her now after a few botched trips. How/when do you guys go?

DD sleeps a lot in the morning hours, barely staying awake at all. Should I go then or should I maintain a quiet place for her to rest?

Honestly, I'm having trouble knowing how to schedule things and how to get in any kind of routine...

  • I usually go in the mornings, when he's sleeping better. He usually doesn't wake up or wake up enough that it's a problem. There is no way I could wait until the weekend to get out of the house!

  • I go during the weekdays, just timing it right after I feed him and don't push it being out longer than 3 hours. He usualy sleeps in his carseat or if I wear the moby wrap, he sleeps most of the time too.

  • Right now, I don't. At least not with two kids. We have been having lots of doctor's appointments for either one of the kids or me, so I will go then. I haven't done it yet with both kids. Between the two of them and a Minnesota winter, it's more than

  • I go right after I feed her and put her in the Ergo so she naps while I'm out. In my opinion it's good to let them nap in different environments with different noise & light levels.
  • After DH gets home or weekends. It's so cold here and DS's immune system isnt strong yet he has a heart condition. Also, he has reflux so I hold him upright for at least 30 mins after feedings...between that and pumping I don't have any time! Going back t

My daughter is very well behaved in stores because she's usually asleep.
