Anyone recommend a particular brand cup or bottle with a straw to ween toddler off of sippy cups?
I've bought the munchkin and the nuby brand and find that my LO has to suck really really hard fo get water! It seems unkind to make him have to work so hard for his water! Is that the case for all of them? Perhaps I'm underestimating his ability to suck?
Is there a reason to switch from sippy cup to straw with cup anyway?
Re: Recs for Good Cups/Bottles with Straws
The insulated straw cups from Tommee Tippee are great! They are virtually leak proof, but aren't hard to sip from. They are kind of a pain to put together since there's so many parts, but it's worth it IMO since they're so leak proof.

They're a little pricey, but I love Zoli Bot straw cups:

My sons also like to drink from my straw style water bottle. Monkey see, monkey do :]
I love the Playtex Insulated Straw Cups. The straw is thinner than the Nuby and Munchkin brands. DS has no issues drinking from it. I gave him a Munchkin cup and he had such a hard time and pretty much gave up.
