Midwives in Memphis

Hey everyone!! I am not currently pregnant, but DH and I are beginning our TTC journey. I have been doing some research into midwives and natural births and am thinking that is something I would like to do. I live in the Memphis area and there are only 3 midwifes here that I am aware of and none deliver in hospitals, only home births. Freaks me out a bit, but the idea is really growing on me!! So, I would love to hear from anyone who is doing or has done the midwife/home birth thing, especially if you are in my area!! TIA!

    I have not had experience either, but have been researching this a bit.  The midwives that you are referring to are stand-alone midwives, but there are also midwives in Memphis that are connected with doctor's offices, and therefore do hospital bi

    I, unfortunately for this reason, am using an OB. I would love to have a midwife at a birthing center or at a hospital.
