Intro

Hello, all. I have been lurking on here and other boards since our loss in August.

My partner and I had a ceremony almost 3 years ago on April 2, 2010. We were both still in college at the time, so we waited to start TTC until last summer. The second month, we got a BFP! The joy was short lived when, at 6 weeks, I had a MC.

We started trying again as soon as we got the go ahead from my OB, but took a few months off after realizing our lives were revolving around those 2 week windows. We started again in January and here we are.

We are doing this at home. We looked into IVF, but it is not an option right now because of financial situations. I use OPKs to determine when I O and, since it worked the first time, we are assuming it will work again.

Do any of you have advice? We have an insemination device that is, uh, unique to us. I was just wondering how some of you have done it at home.

How many times a month did you try? How long did it take you?

I hope I can get support and love here. I have lurked a lot, but thought it was time to peak my head in and say hello.
