One and Done board

I was checking out the One and done board.  It made me so sad.  I know in my heart I dont want just one.  And I can not control the outcome.   There are many benefits to just one.  But for me I will feel something is missing.,

A friend on FB posted "The best decision we ever made was to have our third child".  I wanted to post "Lucky YOU had that choice, I want a second and CANT make it happen.  Not everyone is so lucky to just get to choose, have sex a few times and get the family they want".  But i didnt.  Boy did i want to.

I've had so many people tell me that I should be happy that I have a healthy son and I am but I know something is missing. I just can't shake it. I understand where you're coming from. Good luck.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I try to see the positives if we were to only have one. But I also feel something is missing. Sometimes I feel guilty, like wanting another is somehow making me ungrateful for the child I have. DH is stil

I know it does suck I'm sorry : I find it the hardest when people say things like "oh you HAVE to have another one!" As if it were that easy!!

I know what you mean about feeling like something is missing.  I currently feel that way, and know I always will if we don't have another.  I wanted three children for years, but will happily settle for two at this point.

I've lurked some on the board.  I'm not quite sure I fit in yet, since being one and done isn't our desire-- and we are actively worked against being one and done.
