hcg levels on multiples

hi everyone

had my hcg levels done at 4 weeks 0 days was 82 then again on 4 weeks 2 days and it was 275 almost quadrupled, I had triplets 5 years ago but never got hcg levels done on them and thought it would be interesting to see what other mothers hcg levels where when they where done, curious if its multiples again

That's not even close to quadrupling. It's a completely normal range number. 

hcg is Supposed to double within 24-48 hours in early pregnancy. So... that's a normal number.

My betas were higher with my singleton.

At 4 weeks 2 days mine was 1,825. I spent hours online looking at betas and there were an equal number of singletons and multiples with numbers close to mine. I did have a feeling, very early on that it was twins but I figured I was being silly! Haha! D

Assuming your beta draws were at the same time so they were really 48 hours apart, this is a doubling time of 27.5 hours, which is very fast. Normal range is 48-72 hours. It doesn't mean multiples for sure, but I would guess there is a chance. My doubling

It slows down and tends not to double as fast i.e. 48-72+ hours - a little later in the pregnancy. Closer to 8-10 weeks. Not this early.
