People making baby a FB page...? and a few other q's

I have seen a few of my FB friends have made their babies facebook pages and tag them in photo's and status up dates, I think this is absolutely crazy and gone way to far but maybe there is a reason behind it, what do you think?

 I have also been wondering when to switch LO's bottles to milk instead of formula?

and... what are you getting LO for their first birthday??

I have friends who  have done the same for their pets. One thing it does help is if you want to make status updates about pet / baby, people can friend pet / baby rather that it be on your status feed all the time.

FB pages? Wow. I haven't seen that. DH and I don't put LO on FB. He has a private album on picasa we share with family and friends.

I think that creating a FB page for LO is ridiculous! I've seen people do this as well..

FB for baby is awful, let them grow up and decide if they want that.  Sharing pictures is one thing but sharing every single thing.  People have too much time on their hands.

I'm going to be brave & admit that we have one for our twins.  It's very private, & I don't do any tagging.  The reason we set it up is so that Nan (Grandma) & the rest of their family, who live in England, can see them grow up.&nbsp

we don't have a FB for DD but she does have an email address.  this way i can send her updates as well as photos and videos.  it is private and we didn't even give it out to our parents.  it's mainly just for us to share things with her.
