BFN...Is there any more testing that we are missing?

Hey there. I intro'd last week sometime and got another BFN this morn. We have been trying since june of 09 and got all my and his testing done in the first part of '11. Thats 2 yrs ago! Is it time to retest? We have done 3 clomid, 1 femara and 1 injectable cycle. Can things have changed in 2 yrs and those cycles? I guess Im just grasping for anything. All our test came back fine, I ovulate and well, no cysts, no endo, no blocks nothing and they look at his swimmers every iui so if something was wrong surely they would have mentioned it. What about other tests? We asked at our last WTF appt and RE said the risks out weigh the benefits to any more testing. Our "helpful" fertile friends all have ideas for us along with people they know who....had a protien that would not let the sperm enter the egg, had a blood disorder that would not allow something to something and such like that. Is there something we are missing?!? Cant decide if I would rather there be something than be unexplained at least we could try and resolve a something ya know.   Thanks for the vent and advice in advance. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  • The only additional I had was hysteroscopy surgery which my dr was pretty sure and was right that I had scar tissue. After 4 failed IUIs, we moved on to IVF, which was a scary step, but the success rate for us was much higher if we did.

Although you are very young and hopefully don't have an issue with your ovarian reserve, that is a test that can be done (testing FSH and

  • I think if you have been trying for so long and under the care of an RE I would get more aggressive with either IVF or find a new RE.  Have you done post coital test where they see if sperm can live in your uterus?  Some ladies have PH levels th
