Too many syllables and too frilly for my taste. I don't like the nn Ellie either.

It's NMS. I prefer Eleanor, Elizabeth or Eloise. Also, and I know that this is not true, my initial reaction is always 'this name is made-up', because it just fits too well into the whole Ellie/girly/frilly-trend.

I never know how to pronounce this one. El-ee-ana/El-eye-ana. Either way I think it sounds a bt clunky almost. I don't find that the Eli sound and the ana sound  seem to fit. I would prefer El-eye-ah or A-lee-ah

Thank you so much for all of the honest feedback! This is really helpful! I definitely see what some people are saying about it sounding made up (even if it's not). The more I say it out loud, the more I get that feeling.
