how much formula do I replace with baby food?

Hi all

I am starting to give my son baby food (rice cereal and fruit).  How much is too much? He is 3.5 months and a big boy (15 lbs, 26 in). Should I cut back on a bottle feed because Im giving him food? I dont want to over feed. Thanks!

You don't replace any formula feedings with food - the food is in addition to bottles.  In time, closer to a year, he may start to self wean but in the months before that they aren't taking in enough solids to rival the nutrition in their bottles tha

Do not replace his formula with food. Continue all his regular feedings, in the usual amounts, and do the solids in between the feedings. For example: W eats at 5:30am, 8am, 10, 12, 3, and 5:30pm. We offer him solids at 7am and 4pm. I sort of consider&
