As you know, I've been dealing with IF. Today I met with a new doctor. He is an ObGyn but I have to do all my testing with him. There isn't an RE closer than 2.5 hours from here, but next month they will start having an RE come in once a month or as needed. So, that's cool. 

My appointment went really well. I was so nervous and wishing DH was here more than ever to go with me. I felt at ease as soon as the doctor came in. We reviewed my history and quickly put together a testing game plan. Based on a lot of things he suspects I have some form of PCOS and/or a thyroid issue. Both of which run in my family. So I had blood drawn today for hormones and thyroid screening. I go in 7DPO for progesterone blood draw and then, he believes, most likely will start metformin.  Monday I have an HSG scheduled which makes me very scared especially since DH isn't here. Depending on what they find I may have a lap. He also thinks that I will need to go on bcp for two months to "reset" my body. All of this will be ran by the RE once my tests come in. If I have to do more than medicated TI then he will make me go to the RE. 

I feel so so relieved. I can't believe he was so on top of the testing and scheduling so quickly!

That's fantastic that your new doctor is so focused on figuring out what's wrong and putting together a treatment plan!  Hooray and good luck!

Thanks ladies. I feel really good about this doctor. With my last doctor, I always felt like something was off. She wasn't listening to me, she was guessing or she plain just didn't care. So, it's a nice that this doctor was so knowledgeable abo
