Two Questions about Pocket Diapers

1)  Does stuffing the pockets get way easier? I prepped a few and stuffed them and it took me a long time to get the inserts just right. I'm afraid I'm going to hate pocket diapers because of this, and I have at least 8 of them!

2)When using OS pockets, you have to unsnap the rise buttons every time right?  (In order to slide the insert in?)  When I went to fold the rise setting back up to the smallest setting the front was SO bulky because of where the insert was folded back on itself at the rise setting.

1. Yes it gets quicker. I usually watch tv and stuff pockets at night. I'd say about 20 minutes total to sort, stuff, fold wipes, and fold wet bags. That's usually 16 to 24 diapers for me.

1. I suppose it depends on the pockets. I hated stuffing Fuzzibunz pockets when I had them and it never got better, but don't mind stuffing my other brands. I just kind of jam them in there. I don't worry about them being just right. As long as they ar

1) I just jam 'em in there. No "just right".

2) No, they stay rise snapped until baby grows.

I agree with PP's that it usually does get easier to stuff and don't unsnap the rise. Just about all of my OS diapers came with two different inserts. The NB inserts are a little bit shorter, so they fit much easier when the rise is snapped at its smalles

My FBs are a PITA to stuff, but all the rest of my stash is super easy to stuff.  I have a heavy wetter so I stuff everything w 2 inserts.  I don't unsnap the rise, seems like it makes for more work.

1) Yes, it gets easier. I just had t find a system that worked for me. I hold it with my hand and jam it all the way to the end. Pinch the insert in place at the top fro the outside. Then with my hand that is still inside the diaper pocket I

So helpful everyone. Thank you! And I am embarrassed that I didn't notice thta the OS snaps only adjust the PUL cover, not the pocket too.
