Childproofing

Hi ladies. I haven't been on this board for quite some time, but I'm desperate. We really need to childproof our cabinet doors and drawers. I bought a safety first cabinet latch set, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install those suckers. What do you use? Anything that is easy to install or that requires no screws is a plus. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!
