I love this name. I prefer it spelled this way because I'm Italian and this is the spanish/Italian spelling. Is it too unique? Would you side eye the spelling?

Nope, because its a legit spelling. It even has a different meaning than the Amelia spelling.

Love it!  Emilia is a family name for us, so I prefer that spelling as well.  The NN options are better, especially if you have any desire to call her Emily.

We like this name, too, as DH's dad is Emilio and it is DH's middle name. But the only other baby on his dad's side is already Emerald going by Emmie, so it's similar. And with Amelia being so popular right now, I think we want something a bit less common
