i am watching a documentary on HBO about physician assisted suicide in Oregon. Apparently there is a law that allows for this, I missed a bit. Anyone in Oregon know about it? 

What are your thoughts?

i feel like if someone is terminally ill and suffering and they are of sound mind and competent to make decisions, i don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to make that decision.

this will probably be a P&R because I have to shower and go to my doc appt. but i'll be back!

    I've seen that documentary. It's so sad to watch. I agree though. Who am I to say someone should have to suffer through something I can't even imagine? If I were terminally ill I'd want that option.

    Although I think suicide is awful, I think doctor-assisted suicide is completely different. It may sound silly but I think it should be considered more of a euthanasia. Honestly, if I had a terminal illness that I could not be cured of or be able to have
