Keppra

DD used to be on Phenobarb and Keppra since she was born.  When she turned 1, they took her off the Keppra since her levels therapeutic and her EEGs came back normal.  Her neurologist's plan was to start weaning her from the pheno at 2 yrs old, as long as she is seizure free. Well, now that she's almost 2, we took her for an EEG and there were spikes everywhere so there's no way we're weaning her now :(

The new game plan is to take her off pheno because it is not recommended for a 2 year old and switch to keppra (higher dose than before).  I just pray this is the right path.  Is anyone alse's LO on Keppra?

Any input would be appreciated!!
