Babies: 3 - 6 Months

I don't even think I have a question

So I haven't returned to work yet however I'm still operating on my old work schedule. I'm a bartender and hourly manager at a steakhouse so I normally work till midnight and go to bed around 23 and sleep till 10. Well that's all good but now that I have a 15 week old and I'm still out if work I get so tired around midnight but my baby is still on works schedule , dh also works late hours. So my lo doesn't want to go down for bed until 3 am most night and sleeps till 11 or 12 then naps from 130 till 430 or 5! So I feel like her hours are all out of wack because of my old work schedule. I guess my question could be... Am I stuck in this pickle forever? She is starting to teeth a little bit now and won't take a pacifier so in order to get any sleep I'm having to bed share when usually she's in a rock n play by the bed! ::yawwwwwwn::

  • I don't know but her pictures are sooo cute!

Hopefully not. A gradual adjustment will come?we were thrown off by daylight savings time but we readjusted within a couple days.

  • If you expose her to a lot of sunlight during the day and keep everyone dark at night it should set her internal clock and gradually get her on track.
  • Think back to when she was a newborn and you had to get her adjusted to day and night sleeping. Keep things fairly bright and active during the day with lots of light, sounds, and movement. Stretch her awake time out as long as possible during the day
