I bought a used Jeep play yard in great condition from Salvation Army, but.... it has a recall on it. It was only 30$ and most of it was still in the plastic. Other then calling the company and getting the part(s) what else should I be concerned with? Should I just return it?
You should definitely return it! In my state it is against the law for a business to sell recalled items and I believe those include thrift stores and consignment shops.
What is the recall? Sometimes it's as simple as removing a sticker or strap...otherwise, I'd take it back to them for my money too. Can't sell recalled items.
