Matchbox/hot wheels playlets 2 1/2 yr old

Little man LOVES his cars so Im looking for some sort of playset out there that is some what age appropriate...any recommendations that your kids like?

DS1 is picky and matchbox is not good enough.  Has to be hot wheels. His birthday last week was hot wheels themed.  DS2 is into it also, but needs help with the tracks at this point.

I totally hate those hot wheels tracks and have put them away until Ds is older and can put them together himself...i jsut got sick of constantly having to put them back together for him and then if it wasnt right, the cars dont go fast enough, etc....
