Little suitcase recs for 4 yr olds to carry on to plane?

We are flying w our twins for the first time and thought it would be fun to get those little suitcases but want to get decent ones that won't get destroyed after one trip, are easy for a kid that age to pull (as well as an adult if they refuse to do it)???

any brands or recommendations? I know that ride on kind is sort of popular but I don't think I can see myself dragging a 4 yr old through the airport, we will probably have our double umbrella along for that?..

thanks!

Eta it just dawned on me that maybe the trunk are still good for young kids as a seat when waiting in long ticket or custom lines....hmmmm..

That should say trunkis

  • DD has the Travel Buddies Ladybug suitcase set.  It is a nice set and DD loves pulling around her luggage like the rest of us.

  • We bought a kids suitcase from Kids Travel Zone as you can pick the color and embroidered picture on it.  The kids can really customize their suitcase - we took it overseas as a carry on and the smaller size was great for our 2 1/2 year

  • We just traveled by plane a few months ago and he brought a rolling soft backpack that has a stuffed animal attached that can be taken off.  It was big enough for snacks, coloring book, extra set of clothes, and a few little toys.   I can't seem
  • We have a trunki and really like it. It's adorable for them to ride on and they look at it like a pet/toy. But it doesn't hold that much, we used it just for carryon stuff. And you have to be careful not to go to fast pulling it.
