Poop problems

Now that Charlie is eating solids, things have obviously changed. My 1st question is, what is a good diaper to hold in a lot peanut buttery consistency poo? The volume of her poop has increased and it comes out of her diaper we use Freetimes. My next question is, after I spray the dipe, do I just put the wet diaper in a pailI currently have a trash can with a liner.

Spraying them doesn't do the trick, I basically put them in the toilet because otherwise I can't get everything off and I'd also get wet. Am I doing something wrong?
