A little back ground story before I get to the aggravating part...My brother's wife is also pregnant with me (two days difference in due dates - she is 3/24 and I'm 3/26). It is their third baby. They are VERY competitive about everything! So when we got pregnant at the same time, it turned into a game with my brother and his wife. I knew it was going to be like this so I tried not to entertain it at all. When I went to the doctor, I would never tell them. When I made my appointment for my 20 wk ultrasound, I let them know ahead of time because we wanted to do a gender reveal with family and friends the same night. What does my SIL do? She books her ultrasound the same day as me! I was p!ssed! I didn't understand why she couldn't book hers a day or two before or after mine. My doctor only does ultrasounds on two days out the week because he has someone come in to do them. Her doctor does ultrasounds every day of the week. We didn't think they were going to keep their mouths shut at our gender reveal about their baby's sex; but they did. Surprisingly!
The aggravating part:
So as we get closer to our due dates she calls me constantly asking me if I'm having contractions and what the doctor said at my weekly appointments. I tell her what she ask but I always tell her that I know it doesn't mean anything and that LO can come at any time. Well I went to the doctor on Tuesday and the doc told me I was 1.25 cm dilated, 50 % effacted, cervix is completely soft, LO has dropped a good bit, and my uterus is getting in position. I also tell her that the doctor said that if I want to schedule an induction after 40 wks then I can at my 39 wk appointment (which is next Tuesday). She text me asking what the doctor said and I tell her everything (exactly how I wrote it above). She comes back saying, "OMG you are doing WAY better than me! You are going to have him before me!". I was biting my tounge the whole time I read it.
She calls me today and tells me about her appointment (sidenote: I never called her to ask her about the appointment). She tells me how she is "only" 1.50 cm, 50 % effaced and her LO didn't drop yet. She then tells me that she is scheduling an induction on the 25th or 26th...the 26th is MY due date! It was also the date that me and my doctor talked about doing a possible induction if I don't go into labor before then. My SIL knew this too! UGH! She is driving me nuts!
We usually get along but her acting this way is getting more and more frustrating to be around her. All she does is complain about her stretch marks and how I have more progress then her. 
I'm done...vent over. Sorry for it being so long!

This is exactly why I wanted to hide when I found out my SIL and my sister were due only 4-6 week behind me. I'd be pulling my hair out of they were any closer, I'm sure (both closer in due date and closer physically).
