DS is 13 months old.  We'd like to begin trying for #2 this summer BUT...

I went to my OB because I spot like mad before AF and I've been very itchy on the outside of my girl parts lately.  I thought it was just an yeasty, but she looked and thought it looked like I had vaginal atrophy.  She did a biopsy of my vulva (ouch) to test for other possibilities like Lichen Schlerosis (sp?) but that came back negative.  She thought my estrogen levels were off and I was going into pre-menopause, mind you I'm 29.  I did CD3 testing and the results came back that my ovarian reserve is low.  My FSH was 9.5.  So she prepped me by saying I'm most likely infertile and need to wrap my mind around IVF.  She insisted I go forward with testing, beginning with an anti-mullerium (sp?) test, but I refused.  I told her I wanted to try for #2 on my own before diving into the deep end of the infertility pool.  She pushed me on that and said she would only be comfortable with me waiting two cycles before moving forward on testing.  So here I am.  Cycle 1 of trying and DH doesn't want to... so next cycle is my only shot prior to testing.

Does any of this sound familiar?  She seemed to jump to conclusions a bit, so I'm going to have another OB in the practice review my test results on Tuesday.

Important facts to consider: I just finished BFing in December and still get some milk leaking, I was a MASSIVE over producer when I was BFing, I had a CP in early January, I'm also under a TON of stress complete with panic attacks one of which landed me in ER because I couldn't calm down.

I've recently felt similar emotions as the ones you describe...With me, it was getting an abnormal mammogram back and panicking about the big "C" while TTC#2.

This is just my two cents, but try to take real good care of yourself

I think it's absolutely rediculous that your OB is telling you that you are infertile based off of one test that isn't that bad of a result. You're spot on for getting a second opinion.
