Ok so it's 3am and I'm trying REALLY HARD not to freak out but I am just feeling overwhelmed.
Starting a little before 20 weeks, I started feeling my little guy kick and roll and squirm all over the place, several big bursts a day. Since Monday though, I feel like there have only been a very small handful of movements and it's got me very worried. At my 20 week ultrasound, I was diagnosed with velamentous cord insertion (cord hits placenta off to the side instead of dead-on, and can cause reduced bloodflow and nutrition getting to baby). But with or without the VCI, I think I'd be freaked out over what I perceive to be a reduction in movement. Normally, after eating, any time I was up in the night or sometimes just randomly I'm be getting jabbed frequently, and now just a very few light single kicks in 3 days.
Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? TIA.

I can't relate with the VCI, but I CAN relate with feeling a lot of movement since 20 weeks and then last week (23 weeks) feeling only a tiny bit each day for a few days! Freaked me out. Went to the doctor and had an ultrasound... he was fi
