daycare gyms

I am moving & looking at new gyms in the area.  One is WOW gym & they offer daycare.  I would be using the gym mostly for yoga classes which are usually 1 hour.  What do you ladies think?  Ive never left DS with anyone besides immediate family.  I think he would be fine but i am a little nervous.

I left Lucia in the YMCA daycare once. She did well, and since she's with me all the time I am always looking for ways for her to practice being with others. It was just for one class.

An hour is a good amount because its enough time for you to get a break but not too long for your LO. I know when Nat has a hard time snacks usually help!

Our gym has a daycare for just $2/day ... however, because DD is in full time daycare while I work, I feel too guilty to put her in the gym daycare so DH and I alternate times that we go.

BUT, I am sure that your LO will be fine during your 1h

I am fine with gym day cares before PT and after....but not during.  I think they should ban kids who are PT.  They are not prepared to handle that and pretty much every time I dropped off my children some PT child had an accident.  GROSS.&

If you can, ask for a free week and see if you can try the childcare during that point in time.  I had L in a gym day care for a month and he HATED it.  I think he was just a bit too young, had extreme separation anxiety, and they just put him i
