Hi Ladies, I posted this question on my birth month board and was told it would be a good question for this board, so please forgive my noob status. :-)
I'm not currently TTC, but I started charting/temping in January just to get a better understanding of my body. I know y'all can't see inside my uterus, but here's my question:
I had a lot of wet/slippery/EW CM during cycle days 19-21 (over a week ago); however, there was no "thermal shift" after these symptoms to confirm ovulation. I got higher temps yesterday & today (CDs 28 & 29) but I've also recently developed a yeast infection. Is it common to experience higher BBT readings if the body is fighting off an infection like this? I feel like this is a somewhat long delay between observing fertile CM and seeing the temperature spike...?
I've got some OKPs on order, and I'm sure as I chart more cycles I'll have better data with which to analyze long term trends, but you guys are the experts, so I appreciate your thoughts if this has been anyone's personal experience- TIA!
Re: Do yeast infections affect BBT readings?
OP, I would think that maybe your BMB peeps don't like you all that much if they send you this way for 'advice'.
