Ok, so I finally have DH's approval for these three final names. I love them all but that leaves the dilemma of not being able to pick one. Yoinks....Help!
None are my style at all. If I had to pick I would pick Reagan. I don't like Riley on a girl at all. I feel like Zayla is just a play on Layla and I don't care for the sound. I don't care for Reagan because it feels trendy but I think it's the best out of
This is a difficult one, because I don't really like any of the options. I highly dislike made-up names & spellings (Rae is cute, but Raegan is going to be a pain with everyone automatically spelling it Reagan). I know an awesome (girl) Riley, so that
Maybe it's just me but I think even if you spell Reagen correctly you can still use the nn Rae. It's not so much about the spelling as it is the sound if you ask me.
Reagan, spelled properly, ought by all rights to be a boy name, but for whatever bizarre reason, my memories of the '80s notwithstanding, it's become a girl name. To save headaches, I would spell it correctly; yo

I have really mixed feelings on boy names for girls & cannot stand made up names. Raegan on the other hand is the name of the female lead character in one of my very favorite books so I would get behind that one. It does still have some issues to cons
Our friends named their daughter Zay.la I really can't stand it. I agree it screams "look at us....we're so unique"! Barf. Riley Reagan spelled this way are trendy but better than Zayla imo.
however, please do not use a made up spelling. You already have two spellings to contend with (Reagan or Regan ). Don't add something that doest exist.
I've heard the name Zayla only once before and the person I heard it from decided they liked something else better. Personally, I love the name Zayla. It's kind of modern but hasn't become so popular that it isn't unique. Hands down, I like it the best.
Re: Hubby Approved
Riley is too trendy for me, Raegan is a surename spelled wrong and Zayla is made up. I do like Rhiannon, Meagan and Leila!

Sorry, but I don't like any of your choices and your DS has such a great name that your girl list doesn't seem to compare.
If I have to choose, I would go with Reagan. (You can still use the nn Rae without spelling it Raegan)

Riley is way too popular right now for my taste. It feels like that name is absolutely everywhere.
I like Reagan ok, but I am not crazy about the Raegan spelling. If you're looking for Rae as a nickname, what about Rachel, Raelyn, or Raina?
<pRiley I feel is a boy name.

Reagan is my top choice of the three
I've heard of Zayla, but I've seen it spelled Zaila and it's a Spanish name, mainly with Dominican/Puerto Rican families.
Unlike PPs, I have never heard Riley as a boy's name. Hoever, I know at least six girl Rileys, so I'd rule it out because of that.
I think Raegan is the best of those three, but like others, I don't care for the spelling. Lots of nick
As the mother if a Reagan, I may be biased.

Raegan is my fav but agree with pp's - don't like the spelling. Prefer Reagan. You can still call her Rae even if you spell it Reagan...
