Tdap = feeling like crap?

I have been searching the board for this b/c I swear someone brought it up not too long ago but I can't find a post anywhere.

I took DS2 for his 18 month shots the other day and went ahead and got my Tdap while I was there since my OB wanted me to get it sometime soon.  That was Monday, and all day yesterday and so far today I have felt like total crap.  Headache, exhausted....  Did anyone else experience this?  My mom thought it was weird to blame the shot but the paperwork they gave me mentioned these side effects; I just didn't expect a full day's delay in onset of them.

I havent gotten mine while pregnant yet, but I did get it in 2011.   It made me feel flu-ish, and I even had slightly enlarged lymph nodes in my neck that were tender for a couple of days.  Plus the bad arm ache.

I've not gotten mine yet, but DH was ill the 2 days following TDaP.

I haven't had mine yet, but the kid definitely slept a lot following that series of shots. He had a low-grade fever, too.

Ok well I'll assume it's just the shot and not that I'm coming down with something else.  My arm doesn't hurt at all, and the lady who did it just mentioned that it's not as bad of an ache as a regular tetanus shot, nothing about feeling like I got h

After the Tdap I just had a sore arm for a few days. But the flu shot this year made me *so* sick - I came down with symptoms about 24 hours after getting the shot and was sick (aches, fever, fatigue) for about 24 hours.

I felt fine internally, but my arm had a huge, red, painful lump on it for a week.

Just a slightly sore arm for a couple of days after the Tdap, no systemic symptoms. Some people are more sensitive to the ramping up of your immune system after a vaccination - ie achy, tired, low grade fever. Hope that it goes away soon!

My husband, myself, my mother, and my mother in law all felt crummy for a day or two after ours.

I had a 102 fever for 2 days after the TDaP vaccine, and had body aches like with Influenza.  It was awful!  So, I definitely think your symptoms could be totally related to the vaccine.

I felt ok after getting mine, the only thing I noticed is that my arm was very sore and felt bruised for a few days.
