I didn't see a GTKY post and if there is one, I apologize. Needed an escape from my POAS addiction today. I hope this helps someone else, too!

Re: GTKY: Pets!
cd/dpo- not sure, we are on a break recovering from my new diagnosis. I promised Dh no opks, no temping, no POAS etc... I shouldn't even be on the bump
Plans/Thoughts for this cycle: Still recovering and taking a break until we get back from vacation in mid april. Then it is on! Going to a holistic Dr who works with my RE and getting on a strict nutritional plan, supplements etc... Getting my body ready! Emotionally I am doing much better. We have a plan.
Furbabies: We have a beagle named Peanut. I adopted him from a rescue group when he was 4 months old. He is 2 and very full of energy. His pic is my profile picture. He is highly curious and super smart. He is obsessed with me which drives my DH a bit nuts sometimes. Peanut's favorite food is Peanut Butter! I have several Kong toys I fill with Peanut butter and freeze and he gets one for a treat. He also loves to eat my mint that grows in my garden and always has Peanut Butter/Mint breath

Hello,
10dpo5dt
We have two male cats and one girl bunny
Sweetest story: I have a very long haired furry cat that loves to snuggle and she is always there for me when I am sad, it is like he knows something is wrong and just sits with you to say things will get better.
CD: 3
Plans/thoughts this cycle: Getting HSG done Friday, then off to Hawaii for 8 days. Will temp, but nothing else besides tropical babymakin'. Next cycle will be clomid challenge. H's SA results came back yesterday, all good, and cleared for IVF if needed. Still waiting on my labs from last week.
Furbabies? Where you adopted, age, type and any pics! We have a Siberian Husky, Wendy, who is 8. She is SO sweet, very shy of people (though you wouldn't know it from her inside-the-house personality- she can be pretty rowdy), and loves to accompany us on our outdoor adventures, esp. snowshoeing. Here she is on our snowshoe trek last weekend:
[hmm, having trouble with pics]
We also have two cats- Wolfgang, a 16.5 yr old brown and black shorthaired tabby. I've had him since he was 12 weeks old. He's my handsome and gallant old man. He's very social and friendly, and has moved all over the country with me, and has friends from all over. His kidneys are starting to fail, so I'm just keeping tabs on how well he eats, drinks, pees, and poops, and how much he's enjoying his days. Apart from arthritis, he seems very happy and I hope to keep him that way as long as possible! Sigmund is our baby kitty, he will be 2 in June. He has long blue & white fur, super soft and fluffy. He's so pretty! He's a busy little fellow! He moves his toys around all over the house- certain toys have to be in certain places at specific times of the day. He is enamored of our husky and loves her so much. He curls up next to her and snuggles. They have similar coloring and look like they could be related!
Funniest or sweetest pet story! I had a black kitty called Willis (he was close in age to Wolfgang, and died early at age 8, sadly). He got into the crawlspace at the top of the house one time, and I couldn't find him. I started calling out to him, "Willis!" and he'd say "meow!" back right away. We did that back and forth while I tried to pinpoint where he was, and finally I just said, "Willis, where ARE you?" and he paused, and I swear he meowed back, "I don't knowwwwwww!" Nearly died laughing.
Awee! They are good about that. Good luck in your TTC journey!
OMG! They are precious! Your huskey is gorgeous! I have a really good friend that helps a lot of huskey rescue groups in CA. Great dogs!
I almost forgot...HAWAII!!! How awesome is that! Have a wonderful time. FX that it is your baby making moon!
CD/DPO: Waiting for AF to show her ugly head
Plans/thoughts this cycle: Probably not charting or temping since going on vacation later this month. DH started taking Fertility Blend pills in hope of helping his MFI.
Furbabies? Where you adopted, age, type and any pics! Cat - Tortie Lynx Point Himilayan (Persian) She turns 10 in May. I found her on Craigslist & she turned 3 the day after I got her. I still keep in touch with her previous fur-mommy. I had a horse for 20 yrs, but lost him suddenly back in August. He was 28 when he died - old man, but he was still being ridden & loved it. DH has a black lab, but it lives at DH's parent's house, they would not let him take the dog when he bought his own home 5 yrs ago. LOL
Funniest or sweetest pet story! My cat is very much like a dog. She greets you at the door & meows very softly. She knows commands too - sit, up, beg and she is learning how to do circle & give a paw. She is the sweetest & gentlest cat I have ever known. I would upload a picture, but no clue how.
Elizabeth 5yrs old Jane 3yrs old
CD/DPO:
CD21. Never got a positive OPK.
Plans/thoughts this cycle:
I'm worried that I'm not ovulating.
Furbabies? Where you adopted, age, type and any pics!
2 adopted kitties. One silver tabby named Baudelaire. One that's 1/2 Rex and 1/2 shorthair named Dante.
They are my little old boys. Baudie will be 16 this summer and Dante will be 15.
Funniest or sweetest pet story!
Nothing comes to mind off the top of my head. Baudie is super smart and Dante is super not smart. LOL They're hilarious together.
AF due any second, feel her coming a mile away. Keeping busy will wedding plans and honeymoon countdown (85 days!)
3 English Bulldogs (super cute and very stubborn!) and 1 cat (who I inherited from my late sister). The dogs are inseparable and snore very loudly!
CD 22, 7DPO.
Plans/thoughts: I am seeing an RE for the first time on Thursday and I have no idea what he will want to do. I think we had good timing this month so I am hopeful that maybe we could get a bfp but I'm trying not to obsess about it. I thought there was hope last month too and it didn't work out for me, so we'll see what happens. The disappointment is just so hard to take when I start to get too excited. Can't help hoping though.
Pets: I had a cocker spaniel who was my best little buddy for so long, and she died in her sleep last year after I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum and was trying to wait for a natural miscarriage. It was the absolute worst timing and one of the most painful events of my life. I was single for most of my life so she was all I had. She was one month shy of her 13th bday when she died. It will be a year next month. I still miss her every single day. We have another dog, a two year old vizsla that my husband got before we got married, and she is the funniest dog I have ever seen. She totally thinks she is a person and she always has to be on you or touching you. She's got the most amazing flexibility and contorts herself into the weirdest positions. We are always taking her picture. She is my husband's pride and joy.
Sweet story: my cocker spaniel used to go sailing with me. I have a Catalina 22 and I used to go out sailing on the river by myself with my dog. She was my First Mate- absolutely loved the boat. I even had a life jacket for her. I sure do miss that!
CD/DPO: Just had miscarriage will be 3 weeks ago Friday, as soon as I have one cycle and all ok with my post check on on Monday we will be trying again, so cant wait!!!! Hate waiting!!!
Plans/thoughts this cycle: So waiting for AF to come hate wondering when she will come, never have been so happy for her to come!!
Furbabies? Where you adopted, age, type and any pics! Well I am a total animal person if I have not told you before, I was a vet tech still am part time!! I have
2 cats a calico Ice Cream who will be 9 on 3.17, and Houdini a orange tiger who was a feral I adopted from a lady that passed away he is 9
2 dogs Bentley my 12 yr old Jack Russell he is in my wedding pic below, he is a Therapy Dog, we go to Libraries and have kids read to him. He was adopted from a Jack Russell refuge where I live, he came in to be neutered when he was young and I was the surgery technician on and fell in love, ( did I mention I hated jack russell's?? He is my baby love him!!! He has to go to the cardiologist next Monday his heart murmur is getting worse, hoping he does not need to be on heart meds, praying for a good report monday!!! Hogan 2 yr old Golden Retriever he loves Bentley!!! They are always playing!!
2 horses Judy Quarter Horse she will be 27 4.17 I have had her since she was 3, I was about 12!!! She is my girl love her, I used to show her when I was younger. B.H Quarter Horse, he is about 25, I know his bday is in Feb but forgot what year. I have had him since he was about 2!!!!! They are retired and now happy in my backyard!!
Funniest or sweetest pet story!
Well, my cat Houdini, the lady that had him passed away, he was an outdoor cat she brought inside a few months before she passed and she declawed him. She passed away and now I had a feral ( afraid of people) declawed cat to find a home for. I had him at the animal hospital for 7 months while looking for someone could not find anyone to take him, my DH said for us to take him, I put him in a big cage downstairs worked with him daily (be and Bentley) from Sept - Jan. On Jan 7 Bentley's bday and the day my DH and I met he let me pet him, from then on he earned my trust. I ended up bringing him to the bedroom to stay. The rest is history, he is the best cat ever!!!
He loves Ice Cream and lays with me all the time, I am so glad that we took him, if it was not for my DH I am not sure I would have but he had a soft spot for him when we caught him from the house where he was.
The lady that had him loved her cats and would do anything for them so I am so happy that I was able to help her and take her cat. This part means nothing to me I would have taken him no matter what but you can tell how much her cats meant to her, Houdini comes with a trust fund, so he is set for life on any medical needs that he might need. He is one lucky cat!! Funny too that his name is Houdini, that is another story from when he was young at the animal hospital, bet you can figure it out. But our last name is Dini so his name is Houdini Dini lol He goes by Dini LOL
Ok sorry this was long, told you I am a crazy animal person!!! lol
CD/DPO: CD 4
Plans/thoughts this cycle: Hoping it is our month...
Furbabies? Where you adopted, age, type and any pics! I have two cats (ages 11 and 14), one was trapped in our backyard, one saved from being stepped on by a horse; two dogs (ages 9 and 6), a Sheltie and an Aussie; and two horses (18 and 16) a retired QH and a warmblood who keeps earning her keep by teaching young girls to ride and paying my mortgage...
Funniest or sweetest pet story! I can't even pick one. My heart dog is lying on my lap, completely devoted to me. He recently had major surgery, the day before I had my d&c in fact, and is still recuperating, I compete with him and he has earned many titles. I just love him. As we lay here, my one cat has to be touching him in some way as I ice his leg, and the Aussie keeps wandering over to lick his face.
As for the horse-I recently witnessed her young ridee attempt a series of three jumps, make a badly judged rider error where young rider ended up very unseated and unbalanced atop horse's neck, and that wonderful mare in slow motion navigate her way through the combination, careful not to unseat her young rider-after all, if she stopped or ran out, the kid would end up in the dirt-and calmly jumped the remaining jumps with such ease, the kid ended up back where she should've been to start with. I was bursting with pride and the treats were a many.
BFP #2 5/7/13 EDD 1/14/2014 Ectopic discovered 5/21/13, lost left tube
Referred to RE, blood work done August 2013, AMH 0.27, all else normal, HSG clear
PLans: on BCP waiting lap surgery then injectible iui
Furbabies: 2 cats- Vixen 17yrs and Fagan about 10ish, I have had vixen since she was 6 weeks, fagan I adopted from the SPCA when he was about 2yrs (after my Mr. B died) Vixen is my baby, I am her one and only, she tolerates my husband, but it is all me. Fagan - my big 18lb boy is a total love but not a lapcat, Vixen is - and she is aptly name, she is grande queen of the house. However I do feel like I live with teenagers cause they constantly fight!!
Oh I have too many funny stories! But just the other day I was in the bathroom door closed with fagan (he always comes with me and sleeps in the sink when I shower) well he decided to leave he reached up grab the door handle and left!!! I always knew the day would come when he opened the doors....but I kinda hoped it never would! When he stretches his nose touches the counters....big boy!
