What is the last meal of the day your baby receives and what time? I give my DD her dinner but then before bed we try a bowl of baby oatmeal to keep her full through the night. Sometimes she wants it, sometimes not. What do you do?
He always seems to be hungry when we get home from school, so I try to feed him ASAP or get stuck in a snack rut. (Typically between 5 and 6 he goes to bed at 7:30). He has whatever we're having for dinner, and we don't feed him anymore unless he asks for it, if he's eaten his dinner he'll get some fruit as a snack, if not, he'll be offered his dinner again. He knows if he's hungry, and is not afraid to be vocal about it. he'll typically summon you to the kitchen...if he's near the pantry, he's hungry, if he's near the refrigerator, he's thirsty.
He's only woken up twice in the middle of the night because he's hungry in the past 4 months. He tends not to eat a large dinner either, breakfast and lunch are his bigger meals. Our pedi said that's probably the natural and right way to eat, and children only start eating their larger meal for dinner because we direct them that way.
I can't imagine DS wanting a full bowl of oatmeal after a full dinner, and he's only 12mo. I give him a sippy of milk after his bath ( between 6:30-7:30), and he just grazes on that while he plays before bed. Bedtime is around 8.
My daughter is 15 months old. Her last meal is dinner at about 6:30. If she doesn't drink all her milk with dinner, she can have that until bedtime (7:30). So, sometimes she'll walk around with her milk for an hour or so. Honestly, my daughter often doesn't eat a whole lot for dinner, and it doesn't seem to matter. She sleeps through the night just fine. Breakfast and lunch are her big meals.
We always give a snack when he comes home (usually some crackers or fruit). He eats dinner about an hour before bedtime, and has a cup of milk at bedtime while we're putting on pjs.
Lately, though, he's been almost refusing dinner. We're going to try giving him access to a snack out on the table between dinner and bedtime (fruit or a veggie).

We have dinner around 4:45-5:00 and I give her a small snack (crackers, string cheese, fruit, yogurt, etc.) around 6-6:30 sometimes she eats it sometimes she doesn't (usually depends on how much she ate for dinner) and we never have trouble with her being hungry in the middle of the night. She goes to bed around 8pm and usually sleeps until about 8am.
DD sits down to eat at 5:30 and is done by 6pm. She goes to bed between 7:00-7:30 and sleeps twelve hours. If she doesn't finish her milk at dinner, I will give her a sippy cup around 6:30 otherwise, she doesn't eat anymore before bed. She's usually not starving when she wakes up either and enjoys some story time before we head down for breakfast.
She always gets a snack about an hour before bedtime. Usually just some cheese crackers or a yogurt. She also gets a cup of milk at bedtime too, I think the milk is what really helps her sleep.

My 13 month old eats dinner with us and her last meal is at around 7:30 p.m. Bedtime is at about 8:30 for her and she gets no more snacks. I breastfeed her to sleep.
We do dinner between 5-6 and then she gets a snack right before bed which is around 9. Snack is usually some fruit, crackers, cookies, or string cheese with either milk or juice.
DS gets dinner at 6:30 and nothing after that, bedtime at 8. When we were getting rid of the bottles, I was afraid he'd wake up hungry, but he never has.
DD eats dinner at 5, which is her last meal before bedtime at 7. I don't offer milk before bed. However, if DD were to head toward the refrigerator I would allow her a drink, but it has never happended. We also have no night wakings.
She gets a snack around 3:30 at daycare along with about 3-4 oz of wcm. Then dinner with her is hit or miss, some nights she's really into it and some nights not so much. I'm still nursing at night, so she drinks a full helping of milk before falling asleep, which is probably around 5 oz. She very rarely eats overnight, and if she does, it's because she can't fall back to sleep (and uses the nursing for comfort, not for food).
DS (now 19 months) has had a bowl of oatmeal at 7:30, before bed at 8, since he was 10 months. I don't know when/if we will take it away since he always eats it.
Mine's 17 months, but it hasn't changed since last month.
We do dinner all together as a family between 6 and 6:30.
Then DH takes him for bath, pajamas, bedtime stories.
Around 7:30 we switch off and I nurse - so he has a full belly before bed, but since it's nursing he controls his intake. Some nights it's a lot, some nights it's just a top off.
DD is 18 months, she usually has dinner around 7, and bedtime is around 9:30. She has a cup of milk before bed, but that's about it. If she asks for a snack though (maybe once a week?), I do give one to her. Usually cheerios or a handful of blueberries.. But only if she asks.
