Our DD is almost 20 months old and in the toddler room at daycare.
I'm curious if there are typically parent-teacher conferences for toddlers at daycare?
I don't really have any concerns and I can certainly ask our daycare, but just curious if others have had "formal" meetings with daycare teachers.
Re: Daycare "parent-teacher conference"?
When we signed up, they told us we would have them monthly.....over 2 years later, we have yet to actually have one. They seem to do developmental assessments a few times a year and send home the results, but we haven't had one of those in a long time either.
Normally, if the teachers have something to share, they'll just mention it during pick-up or drop-off, or give us a call during nap time. We do the same if we have questions/concerns.
Yep. Our center is supposed to hold them every 6 months, but we've only had one since we started (she was about 18 months at the time).
They do them more frequently as the kids get older (K readiness and such) as our daycare also includes a pre-school.

We do. DD's "parent-teacher conference" was pretty ridiculous for a 6-month old baby, but I appreciate it. The teachers write up an assessment of where the child is developmentally, they note any concerns, and they have a specific time set up so the parents and teachers get good 1:1 time for a conversation.
As I said, it was silly-I speak with DD's teacher every day about how things are going, and often have a chance for longer conversations. But I did like the idea of having a dedicated, uninterrupted conversation and opportunity to bring up questions and concerns.
This!
This. We have them yearly in the Spring (actually having it next week). In the Fall they have an "Open House" where you can more informally have a meeting with the teacher. I found it fun when he was 9 months old because it was 15 minutes of one-on-one call with the teach to tell us about our son. Sure we can ask anytime but I found it nice. When he gets older it will be more useful I'm sure.
