how many oz a day should ds be eating?

we went down to 7 bottles a day now most days (had 9 the other day). but each bottle is 5-6 oz with one bottle being 7oz at night... yesterday he ate about 38oz... is that too much?

I think it depends on your kid. My DS is eating about 30-32 oz per day.?

It's a lot, but if baby is keeping it down it's not too much.  At this age they can't be overfed... if they keep it down, feed them.

he does spit up a little; but no more then he was before... i wonder if he eats more because of the IUGR; he was 5lbs 14oz at full term birth.... at 2months he was 11lbs 6oz

 

mil tells me all the time what a huge eater dh was too
