Donating Plasma while Nursing 7 month old?

Has anyone heard anything one way or the other regarding if it is safe to donate plasma while nursing? My facility in town allows it as long as the baby is over 6 month. So, I am good to go on that end, but just can't really find a professional/expert opinion on this subject online. I am waiting to hear back from my hospital's LC also. Thanks

Should be fine. I donated whole blood every few months after DS was 6 months old. No problems.

I also do whole blood, not plasma.  When I did my internet research around 6 months I felt that if I had any problems with supply I might have waited until my baby was 1+ just to ensure I didn't rock the boat, but without supply problems there didn't seem any reason to wait.

Thanks so much for the info guys! My LC directed me to https://www.infantrisk.com/ and she said they are a very reliable resource they use often. They said donating plasma while breastfeeding is fine as long as you are in good health. She just said eat healthy and stay hydrated! I have a good supply, my baby is 7 months old, and we are both in great health!
