Am I the only one that doesn't find it offensive? I would love to have more children but Hadley is it for us.... but being able to spoil her is one of the few benefits of having only one.
I just hate thinking of my child as being "spoiled." It makes me think of rotten milk. My BIL is spoiled, and he is definitely rotten milk. My little lady is a sweetheart.
It's also a myth that only children are spoiled because they are only children. It has nothing to do with being an only child, and everything to do with parenting choices, you know?
Re: Board description change?
I agree! While I admit to overindulging a bit, I do my best not to "spoil" my son.
Maybe just get rid of the word "spoiling" and change to:
"Love being a parent to your little one and only? This is the board for you!"

Yes, please!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that annoying.
I'd like to think the former, but would have to say it's more likely the latter.

Hi everyone! Sorry -- we're changing it to:
Are you raising an only child? This board is for you!
MUCH better! Thanks!

Thank you so much! The "spoiled" comments make me cringe - it's never positive.
