CD Swimmers?

Has anyone used CD swimmers? Do you recommend them? What brand?

It just seems so much more economical and practical than disposables, especially for swimming. Idk, maybe I can be converted when we get to #2 to CD. Smile

    I haven't used that brand, but we have a My Swim Baby swim diaper and love it!

    We didn't CD, but did use reusable swim diapers. We've used iPlay for the last two summers and they are great. She only ever pooped once in one (thankfully!) and it was contained just fine.  They sell the bottoms separately, but since she's a girl, I just bought her the one piece kind with the built in swim diaper. The bathing suits are also UV protected material so that was an added bonus.

    I just bought the iplay cd at target yesterday. I can't say that I have used it yet, but my sister has and loved it.

    I just asked on Nursiers & Gear board not too long ago about swim dipes - the iplay was the most rec'd - particularly the one w/ the velcro. Which reminds me I need to get to ordering one...

    I haven't bought one yet for DD, but I'm looking at the Bummis, iplay, and Imse Vimse ones. She's right on the line between medium and large, so I was going to wait another month to order one to see how much bigger she gets.

    We just use the shell of one of our Bumgenius CDs. Works great, although I can't say that he's ever pooped in one while swimming.

    I love them. We have a bummis and an iplay. They are both great!

    A cheaper route is to order a china cheap off eBay. You can get them for like $2 then  just use them with out an insert.  You aren't supposed to put your everyday diaper in a pool because the chlorine can mess with them.

    I'm planning to just use a pocket diaper without an insert this summer.  I have a couple that I don't use as much so will designate those for swimming.
