Keens sandals, run big or small?

I usually get my kiddos stride rite sandals and shoes, but I want to try Keens sandals this year. Do keens run big or small compared to other shoes? My kiddos feet measure at 4.5 and 6.5 at stride rite. At stride rite I would get them a size 5 and 7 sandal.

In my experience they run big.

DD last been in strife right 7's for awhile now and she is just now starting to fit into her size 7 keens.

My son has a pair of keen sneakers in size 6 and they seem to fit the same as his 6w stride rite sneakers. I'd say they fit similar and run on the wider side which is nice.

I didn't think they ran all that big.  They were worth the money though!

ETA: There is more room in the toe bed, perhaps that's what can make it seem they run big.  I think they run pretty true to size.

This is probably more accurate. I think it was the wideness of the keens that prevented her from wearing them at the same time as she wore that size in stride rite.
