I know I don't post here often, but I know you guys "get it".
DS is 19 months old. We went for a sleep study last night at the children's hospital. They strapped him down to put the sensors on his head because he wouldn't hold still in our arms. It took 35 minutes to get them all placed. He screamed the whole time. Then he wouldn't stop pulling at the wires so they had to wrap his arms with these soft boards that kept him from bending his elbows (so he couldn't reach his head/face). They didn't have a crib in the room, and he kept waking up crying so I slept in the hospital bed with him. We don't usually sleep together, and he was already uncomfortable which made it almost impossible to sleep. I think he got about 5-6 hours of broken up sleep. He just couldn't get comfortable. I couldn't get comfortable. The tech woke us up at 5:30 this morning, and we were on our way shortly after that. DS is at home with DH and still sleeping. I was late for work because I went back to bed when we got home and slept through my alarm (oops!). I never ever want to do that again. These are the kind of things that I always end up asking why we have to go through this. Why can't we just be "normal"? Ugh, I need a hug.
Re: I need a hug and some caffene: Sleep Study related.
That sounds terrible. **hugs**
I hope your day is easy and goes fast, and that you get a good night's sleep tonight.

If yours was done at an actual children's hospital I would have expected a MUCH MUCH better experience. We did ours at a local hospital who won't even do peds patients under 2 and it was no where near as awful as you describe.
I'm sorry!
Sleep studies suck donkey balls.
They are a special kind of mommy hell, that only one who has been there can understand.
Hopefully they got enough info and you won't have to *cue horror music* do it all over again. ARGH!!!!
Take one of these ??and these ??and call your bartender in the morning...
We are seriously considering declining another study if they didn't get enough info this time. I just can't do this again (unless absolutely necessary, of course, but still...).
Assembly, your new sig pic is amazing. I love it!
Thanks! The number 2 is an emerging skill ;P
