Has anyone ever found cloth diapers at their local Once Upon a Child? Not sure if I even want used diapers, but I thought I would at least take a look if it made sense.
I found 4 Lil' Joeys and a Kawaii last year at a big consignment sale. They all looked brand new, and I think I paid $5 each for the LJ's and $3 for the Kawaii. I had to take a chance on them b/c they were wrapped in plastic and I couldn't see the insides.
the cloth diaper store close to me sells used and has a pretty decent selection. if you have a CD store near you I would try there first if you want to see some in person.
This is their website. you can order used but you have to call them first.
I've seen them at OAUC here. I haven't bought because I don't really need more and they've been packaged in $20 lots. I wouldn't buy unless they'd let me open the bag and really look at what was inside.
Our local OUAC does not carry CDs, but another second-hand baby store carries bottles and things like that, so I'd assume that they'd also carry CDs but I have never seen them there.
I bought a lot of my newborn diapers used on ebay and got some really great deals, especially for someone who was new to CDing and I didn't know what I'd like. So, I bought several different brands and varieties and didn't have to fork over a bunch of money. Then, whatever I truly didn't like and knew that I wouldn't be saving for baby#3 somewhere down the road, I sold back on ebay.
I actually just sold the gdiapers that I had for $65. Altogether, I had paid $77 for them, so only had to eat $12.
