Just thought I'd make a post for our newbies...since we've had several come out of lurking. Though you've been lurking, you may not know exactly what everything means. So, I thought I'd fill ya in a little bit!
On Mondays we do mommydaddy and me posts. We share a pic of us or daddy with little one.
On Tuesdays we do TTT. This is tiny tot Tuesday...we share just a random photo of LO.
Wednesdays are our photo contest. The theme is picked by the previous week's winner. We make a post for you to put you photo contest pic in then another post is made for bloopers and contest comments.
Thursdays are photo contest voting and UO. UO means unpopular opinion. You share an opinion you may have that is more of the "unpopular" kind.
Fridays are photo contest winner announcement and FFFC. FFFC stands for Friday flame free confession. This is a time for you to share random things that you may need to confess, without judgement. However, as life tends to be, though these are supposed to be flame free, just beware that that isn't always the case!
There will be random open letter days...these are letters for you to write to whomever you may want to say something to but my not necessarily say it in real life. There is a trying to conceive check in day...I think it's on Thursday, someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this one. There's a Facebook group that you can join...it's private so you'll probably have to make yourself known here a little bit before you could join, because it obviously is way more personal. I know jldubb and lancyjo are 2 moderators of the group...sorry that I don't remember the other one. You'd have to send one of these ladies a request and they'd go from there with it. There is a book club and discussion is done through another site. Moderators please chime in and give the details of the book club.
I think that covers the specifics of things that go on other than ever day discussions! If I've forgotten anything please add to my list.

Thanks jmccall! I run the book club. We are at a little stand still right now because a lot of people don't like the book that was chosen and my lazy butt hasn't picked some new ones yet. If you'd like to join though, we go through a site called Goodreads. You have to sign up then I can add you to the group on the site.
Also, for FB we just ask that you are a little more active on the board before we allow you to join. It's a lot more personal on that side, everything from people having your IRL names to the conversations we have. (I'm still waiting for you jmcalll to make the jump!) But, if you ever feel the want to jump over there, all you have to do is page one of us (We have a MOD tag in our siggies) and we can tell you have to join from there.
Other than that, she's pretty much covered everything! I'm glad you ladies have come out of lurkdom - this place needs some fresh faces to add to the mix!
