no longer vocal

I have notices that my lo no longer is vocal. She used to squeal, raz, and say all kinds of noises. Now she just does variations of "uh" "ah" . I am starting to get concerned. Should I be?

I am getting worried because she appears to be laughing but nothing comes out.  I keep telling myself that she is getting over a terrible cold but I miss her "talking".
