My LO is 4 months now and we are having issues finding a formula that works for him. We've been through Similac Advanced, Similac Sensitive and are now on Similac Isomil. He's not a fan of the Isomil and still seems to have issues with tummy troubles. I nursed exclusively for about 5 weeks and just couldn't handle the stress of the constant feedings and zero sleep, I couldn't eat enough during the day and get enough sleep to get a very good supply. I'm considering trying to nurse again to see if his tummy is happier with that. I'm home with him so I have a lot of time that I can devote to this process. Has anyone tried this or known someone who has? Successful or unsuccessful? I would love some thoughts and input on this. Thanks!!
Re: Relacting
A fellow bumpie I "know" is successfully doing it. She's even back at work.
I think the whole idea is awesome! And you are awesome to even consider it! Many many well wishes to you and this journey. I hear it can be quite a struggle, but if it makes your LO feel better, so worth it!
Good luck!
That depends on the mom. I have a friend who EBF her kid up til the kid went on solids and then only gave solids and breastmilk til he was 18months old.
that's quite presumptuous to say to the poster.
if the drive and determination and persistence is there, I bet you can ebf just fine. best of luck to you in relactating!
