bleeding question

i know i'm being obsessive, but i am still bleeding on both bcps and lupron. i have been bleeding for 11 days, where my normal period is 3-4 days.

my lining is typically super thin as well (i was pg with a 5.5 lining) so where is all this bleeding coming from? when will it stop?

i am so terrified and anxious about having another cancellation after our embryos died last time.

I bled for a similar length of time (on BCPs and Lupron).  I finally stopped bleeding for about 3 days, but then I stopped BCPs and now am bleeding again.  I've asked and my nurse told me not to worry about it.  Might not be any help, but at least you know some else's experience is similar.

I bled almost the whole time my 1st IVF cycle while I was on BCPs and it continued when I added Lupron. So almost a month of light bleeding/spotting

I couldn't really tell when my period began, only from the BCPs ending. My clinic said it was all alright. That was my only cycle of Lupron though. I have always had a perfect triple stripe lining when it came to transfer time though.

Also had a "Lupron bleed" in there, which can be heavier or similar to a period.

Id worry about that too! Im glad you asked about it since ill overlap bcps lupron next month.

@megs it didn't happen to me with IVF #1 (also a reason I worried) but I was on bcps much longer this time bc my clinic has everyone cycle together. i think that's what caused the bleeding initially...gl!

I haven't ever bled on bcps myself, but I've read many many accounts of women who have and went on to have success. I'll be sending you positive vibes that everything moves forward positively despite the bleeding, or that the bleeding will just stop all together so you can have some peace of mind. *hug*

I just finished my first IVF cycle, I was on Bcp for 3 weeks and Lupron also, I bled the entire time in BC...I actually bled until a few days into my stims! They told me not to worry! I hope that helps!!
