First off, sorry for being MIA for the past month. But you'll read why below...
So L is an excellent night sleeper. She'll sleep 6-8 hours at night, but during the day she will won't nap longer than 45 minutes unless I'm holding her. And I can tell she's still sleepy. But if I keep putting her down she just gets fussy and won't go back to sleep. So the day time can be quite trying sometimes. It's been worse since we've transitioned from the newborn napper to to the bassinet part of the PnP. She hates laying flat!
As of last night she slept 8.5 hours, got up ate. Then laid back down for and hour, got up ate stayed up to play for 3 hours and laid down for another nap. I can't believe she's napping so well!
I guess this is my long winded way of saying I get to come play today!
Re: Hello Ladies!
1. Your daughter is beautiful.
2. I am totally jealous of her nighttime sleeping!!!
Naps can be tricky all around, but woohoo for great nighttime sleeping!! Babywearing saved me a lot in the early months when DS would fight naps.. it was instantaneous!! I'd put him in my wrap, and within minutes, he'd be out like a light!! I even still will wrap him when we're going somewhere and I know he's due for a nap.. sleeping in the stroller, forget it! But, slip him in my wrap, and he's down for the count
Glad that you're getting some extra time today to get on the bump!! Hopefully this good sleeping during the day will be a new trend for her!!
1. Thank you very much!
2. I never imagined this for sure. My first DD, who will be 15 on the 31st, has never been a good sleeper. She is still to this day an awful sleeper. I feel so bad for her.
