When the season rolls around, you can do berries; things like raspberries don't need to be cut. They may or may not be messier, but hey, with practice, that'll improve too.
We do crackers, bananas, oranges, cheese, nuts (my daughter is older - this probably started more like 20mo), carrots (she's always loved these and been great with them, it varies by kid), muffins... those are my go-to's.
One of her favorites at that age was mini muffins. I would make 100+ at a time and freeze them, taking some out right as we were heading out the door. I just throw things together, I always use a couple jars of baby food in them, shredded carrots usually, spinach sometimes, craisins, etc. if you google "toddler muffins" you can find some recipes.
We do string cheese, whole wheat crackers, blue berries, grapes and strawberries. I still cut all of the berries. Boxes of raisins are one of our new favorites. We love fruit pouches. I just bought some of the reusable one and they're handy, easy and eco-friendly
Any food can be a "snack" food. I take cereal, grapes, whole wheat bread, cheese, dried fruit like dates and raisins, cereal bars, even leftovers from lunch like cut up chicken, peas, apple slices, etc.

He loves these snacks called Apple Straws they sell in the chip aisle. They are so hard to find, I only can find them at one Walmart we have. He also likes fruit cereal bars, Fig Newtons, and goldfish.

Adding to the list, we also used to do (and sometimes still do if the price is right) the yogurt melts (in the baby food aisle) and freeze dried fruit (found near the chip aisle at Target, they also have some freeze dried veggies). Oh, and pretzels.

I don't know why bread never came to mind. DS is obsessed with bread and toast. He spits out raisins and goldfish crackers currently, but I'll definitely give dried cranberries a try. I have made a version of "toddler muffins" and baked oatmeal for him and I think they would work well on the go as well.
At all times, we carry with us cheerios, graham crackers, multigrain crackers, and dried apple bits. When we remember it and know we won't be out for forever long, we carry packs of peeled apple slices and/or cold baby carrots and some string cheese (easy to pull apart into little bits for her to nibble on).

Freeze dried bananas! DS could live off them if we let him. We buy the Archer Farms brand from Target. They have a lot of freeze dried fruits, but some have added sugar so just watch for that.
Other snacks we give include Happy Baby puffs, raisins, peanuts. We used to give whole grain Goldfish but we're trying a gluten free diet for him right now and he doesn't love his GF crackers all that much

Some of DS's favorites: raisins and Craisins, peeled apple slices, Cheez It crackers, cereal bars (Plum Organics makes some kid-sized ones called Jammy Sammies that aren't as sticky and sugary as Nutri-Grain), graham crackers, fruit pouches, Annie's Bunny Grahams, veggie straws (in the chip aisle), honey-wheat pretzel sticks, and individually wrapped cheese chunks.
