If you did not BF or stopped BFing, how long did it take your periods to regulate? Or are they still irregular?
I stopped pumping at 2 months as LO had a milk protein allergy and had to go on Alimentum formula. My period resumed relatively quickly, but my cycles have been getting shorter and shorter with my O moving up 1-2 days every month. I'm not sure if this is normal or if this is related to my IF problem.

I'm psuedo charting. Not doing temps as would not be reliable anyway with getting up with a baby. However, I am doing OPK's, monitoring cervical mucuous, plus I can usually feel when I O. I almost always get 2 days of + OPK's and O on the second day.
My LP's are usually short anyway - 10-11 days - and they have pretty much stayed the same.

BF and haven't gotten it back yet.
My exclusively breastfed LO is 7 months (pumped for first 1.5 months while she was in NICU) and I had my first post-partum period at the beginning of Jan. (fun with fibriods!) and one at the beginning of Feb. Still nothing for Mar. And I used to be regular like clockwork! I knew I was pregnant with my LO because I was two days late.
I doubt I'm preggers again...no sex still (as my symphysis pubis issues aren't quite resolved yet -- ouch! -- although there was some fooling around), but not having my period yet is making me antsy.
I've even had my usual PMS symptoms the other week, but still nothing a week and a half after I expected a period.
Could be age-related for me (almost 39, my family has early-ish menopause), could be just "normal" post-partum irregularity, or maybe breast-feeding related -- LO just stepped up her nursing big-time even as I introduce solids.
So...all that to say: I can't speak to IF problems as varied as they can be (mine were the fibroids) but I've been told that our hormones are still haywire for a while after having babies, so lots of types of irregularities can be seen the whole first year.
I guess I'm not much help...I'm going to call my doctor soon-ish and ask her about it.
Hope you are able to get some answers too for yourself.
(Hope I didn't jump into a thread I shouldn't be on...still learning the codes and protocols.
