So since i will be a first time mama soon. i just thought i ask and see for fun and see what people say. as to when their LO decided to come. Did they come early, on time or late. and by how many days or weeks? Did you have a boy or girl. Oh and another fun question was it the sex they said it was or was dr wrong? My MIL said dr was wrong for both of her babies lol im like that be irritating but a huge surprise.

I know they say that a first time mama is usally at due date or past b4 giving birth but i want to hear personal experiences. These sites all say something diff  so you just never know.

Baby girl was born 9 days early... My water broke. And we were team green, so no wrong guesses there!

I was induced a couple days early because of low activity at my obgyn appointment. However, when we got to the hospital she was moving just fine but since I was already there they just went ahead and induced. Labor lasted about 20 hours and then just a short 15 minutes or less of pushing. Also, just as the ultrasound showed I had a beautiful baby girl.

DS actually came 9 days early, although his skin and size were measuring at 40+ weeks. I wasn't induced, and I was at 5cm and 100% effaced when the doctor realized I was in true labor.

I had a boy, and we had 2 ultrasounds after 20 weeks (they needed to do a third one to remeasure his legs) and at both of those ultrasounds he was a boy. 

Did your MIL actually have ultrasounds to determine the sex of her babies or did her doctor just guess based on their heart rates? My MIL had twins her first pregnancy and the twins were one of each sex. The doctor didn't do an ultrasound, but he kept guessing boy one week, and then girl the next (no one knew there were twins). He was sort of right haha. 

A friend of mine was a week early with her first baby. And a cousin of DH's was about 2 weeks early, but they kept switching her due date.

My water broke the morning after my due date, and she was born a little after midnight.  So, she was technically 2 days late, but just barely.  They were accurate.

We were told DS was a boy at 13 weeks (obviously the accuracy at that point was not as good but we were told again at 16, 20, and 30). DD wouldn't show us the goods at 16 weeks but we found out at 17, then again at 20 and 30. DS was 7 days early at 7 lbs 12 oz and DD was 5 days early at 7 lbs 10 oz. I had been dilated and effaced about a month with each of them. My water broke on it's own and I had pretty uneventful labors and deliveries.

Mine came two weeks early. Didn't realize I was in labor until my water broke. Was in labor for 6 hours and then he was born. We did know we were having a boy as they told us in both ultrasounds.

They told us it was a boy at the 20 wk. ultrasound and that's what we got. I was induced a week early. Very fast, very painful, and very emotional. You'll do great, good luck!

I was induced 5 days before my due date because my blood pressure was high and I had some protein in my urine. I think I would have been late if I was not induced. Ultrasound showed she was a girl and that was correct.

DD was born at 37 1/2 weeks.  My water broke in the middle of the night.  After 8 hours of zero contractions or dilation, I opted for a c-section over pitocin.

Doc guessed 60/40 chance DD was a girl at 17w.  At 20w and every u/s after that, it was confirmed over and over she's a girl.  She did, in fact, come out a girl.

Went into labor two days before and had her at 4:55 am the next day (1 day early based on her most recent estimated due date, but she was 6 lb 11 oz making me wonder if her later due date was more accurate.  We were team green.

My LO came on his own at 37 weeks, 3 days.  He was just TOO excited to meet the world!

DD was born on her due date, and her ultrasound was correct:)  I jokingly put a reminder on her due date in my phone that I was having a baby that day...it went off in the hospital and DH and I had a good laugh.

Uneventful pregnancy. Gender correct at 13 then 20 wks ultrasounds. My water broke 5 weeks before due date and needed emergency c section. She was still good size at 6 lb 5 oz. She spent 1 week in NICU since early but everything was great and has been since.

At exactly 41 weeks and she had to be induced and delivered by cs.  Gender was correct.  I agree with FTM's delivering later.  Every FTM I know, had there baby a few days after their due date.

We were surprised when DS arrived at 36 weeks and change. About 23 days before my due date. My water broke! I was shocked. But we were glad to meet him :

Oh, and they were correct with identifying the sex.

DD1--water broke one week early, she arrived early in the morning the next day. Team green so no way to be wrong.

DD2--water broke the day after my due date, she arrived early in the morning the next day. 2 u/s around 20 weeks both said girl and they were right.

I went into labour 2 days after my due date (at night), DD was born the following morning. (less than 8 hours from first contraction to baby in arms). We were Team Green.

We had a boy as expected. He was born on his due date after 32 hours of labor.

I had an appointment to be induced at 40 weeks 3 days after having zero signs of labor. DD decided she wanted to come on her own timing and I woke up the next morning in labor. I was 39 weeks 4 days. The ultrasound was correct about the sex. The funny part was I didn't know I was in labor since I'd had zero signs. She came fast. I was 7 cm by the time I got to the hospital. 9 hours of labor total.

My water broke at 38 weeks 2 days. I had a boy. I did group prenatal appointments and even though I was due first my doctors told me they thought I would go late. Mind you they didn't do any exams to see how dialated I was or anything that was actually scheduled for the next day.

I was 38w2d when my water broke. I had a boy. I was worried about the same thing because my mom's doctor was wrong with me but they told me he was a boy and he was a boy. My doctor told me they didn't think I'd have the baby before my due date but he had other plans.
