Re: *****2IF Grad Check In*****
Update: Nothing to update regarding the pregnancy. Last week was the big news with negative results on Mat21 and finding out we were having a boy. I had my 40th birthday on Sunday, which was lunch at a restaurant with a big group of girlfriends. I had a picture of DD in a "Big Sis" t-shirt, and as everyone came in, I had them look at it.
Some people (mostly the 2-3 that already suspected) got it immediately. The rest had to be told to read the shirt after saying something along the lines of it being a cute picture, but not getting it. It started becoming an inside joke as people came in, because the realization faces were priceless!
For dessert, I got the Chantilly Lace cake from Whole Foods, with icing on top that said "it's a boy." I'm such a bad liar/holder of secrets, that I was telling one of the other 2 pregnant ladies at lunch, who is on her 3rd (2 boys) and is team green, that if she has a girl, I had a ton of clothes for her. One of the other ladies picked up on that and said it must be a boy, if I was giving DD's clothes away. Luckily only one other person heard before the official reveal, so it was still a surprise for most.
I go see the MFM for a follow-up visit regarding my partial previa on the 18th, which will hopefully have resolved itself by then, and then to OB on the 20th for my monthly visit.
QOTW: No real plans yet, other than having to paint his room, since it was pink when we bought the house, as is the connecting (to DD's room) bathroom. Trying to decide what color crib to get (white, like DD's or brown to be a bit more masculine). Other than that, mostly reusing DD's stuff, and have an extra dresser to use as the changing table. Definitely not very exciting stuff, sorry!
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13
8weeks,3days...but who's counting!! HaHa!
I have been STARVING, if I get too hungry I will get nauseous so eat eat eat is all I do! I promised myself I wouldn't gain as much weight as last time, but really I don't have a choice right now.
Graduation to my OB!! I have loved my RE, their office is so in and out so fast and they are so patient with all my million questions,BUT I am so glad to be graduating to my OB!!!
She delivered our stillborn twins and my DS via c/s. When I call and spoke with the nurse requesting an early u/s she had to confirm with my OB. The nurse was very doubtful that I would get the u/s. Weeeeeeell....she ate her words when she called me back!!! She said my dr wanted to personally do the u/s, nurses Ed class and basically meet with us personally!!! The nurse had to describe it to the receptionist bc this is so rare in their office. So really my next update will be on the 18th when we have u/s #2. I have planned something after the apt and trying not to think about the "what if something is wrong".
Anyway, this is the most exciting thing going on right now, it's so weird moving from IF to PG. with IF there was always a next step within a week or 2....this is a long 9 months of waiting! Not complaining so glad to be here!
Last ramble: I just ate an avocado and some B&J phish food ice cream!!! LOL it was soooooo good!!!

Hi ladies!
I have PCOS and got pregnant my first cycle with Femara + Ovidrel + IUI. I am now almost 23 weeks along and we found out we are having a boy. Everything is going really well so far (knock on wood.) I had HBP with DD, so I'm hoping to keep it down this time.
QOTW: I haven't done much, as we are sharing our bedroom with him. We plan to start setting things up the beginning of April.
Q is now 3 months old and a lot of fun. she is such a happy girl, smiling and giggling. Her daddy is able to make her giggle best!
I am on my forced 2 month break until we start injectable cycle. I am researching everything I can. This needs to be it as I am so tired and have not even started yet!
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
Hi Ladies,
I hope you all are well. I keep checking in on the board to see how you're doing.
So far, my pregnancy is off to a great start. I am praying everyday that it continues!!!
For those who don't remember my history, full details in siggy, but I got pregnant the old fashioned way while we were delayed from starting IVF #3. I was on PIO, estrogen patches, Lovenox, aspirin and prednisone for my BFP cycle.
I just had my 7 week u/s and baby is measuring great with a HR of 140. I will be seeing the perinatologist specialist soon to plan for screening and second trimester management.
QOTW: I didn't get to use the baby things I had for DD. They are all packed away in a closet. I hope we will use them for this baby! Of course, we'll need some baby blue if it turns out to be a boy.
Thinking of you guys and hoping for success soon!!!!!
