Girl Name Opinions

I have so many girl names that I like, but my hubby is extremely picky! Who knew? We have a few options so far, but I'd love feedback and opinions. Middle name is set after my grandma who died of polio, "Laine," which means "light." Honest reactions please! Thanks for your help in advance

Luna makes me think the woman is loopy, eccentric, and out there.  Yeah, Harry Potter kinda ruined that one for me.  Maybe I need to meet a Luna in real life

Afton sounds masculine and unattractive.

My ranking would be: Penelope, Eva, Luna and Afton. Although, I really don't like the flow of Luna Laine, kind of sounds like a super hero name.  I've never heard of Afton and I don't think it's very feminine.

I can't stand Penelope.

Luna is cute and Eva is alright.  I'm not a fan of Afton at all.  I think I'd assume that was a boy.

I have actually met two Afton's, so I know it's not made up, but it's still not a favorite. The other names are so much more feminine.

I like Luna, but Luna Laine sounds kind of silly to me.  I vote Eva.

I like Penelope and its potential for nicknames Nell, Penny, etc.
I have a negative association with Eva MIL and it's too close to "evil" to me.
I know a dog named Luna.
Afton makes me think of Afrin.

I love Penelope! Penelope Laine sounds nice.

I also like Luna but not so sure I like it with Laine. I think it's the double Ls.

Eva is okay and it does work with Laine.

I'm not a fan of Afton at all and don't think it works as well with Laine.

Agree with this. If you were using a different middle name Luna would be my second pick

My order would be Afton, Eva, Luna, Penelope.

I actually really like the name Afton. My younger sister has a friend with this name, and I've always thought it was pretty.

Eva Laine is nice, but I think it's kind of short.

Luna reminds me of a sleep aid medication, so I can't like it much.

I dislike Penelope.
